How to Write a Real Estate Bio That AI Actually Understands
Most agent bios are written for humans skimming a webpage — a few sentences about years of experience, a favorite neighborhood, maybe a fun fact. AI models reading that same bio to answer “who’s a good agent in this town” often can’t extract anything useful from it, because the information that matters is buried in flowery language instead of stated plainly.
What AI Models Actually Look For
Specificity. A bio that says “I specialize in Hunterdon County, NJ, with a focus on first-time buyers and probate property sales” gives an AI model concrete, matchable facts. A bio that says “passionate about helping people find their dream home” gives it nothing to work with — it’s not wrong, it’s just not information.
The Fix — Position Before You Polish
Before worrying about tone or personality, get the facts explicit: your specific service area (town and county names, not just “the region”), your specific specialties (probate, first-time buyers, luxury, investment), and any credentials that differentiate you (like a dual real estate and mortgage license). Personality can layer on top of that — but the facts have to be there first, in plain language, for an AI model to use them at all.
